Facilities

Central Library

With a very good collection of books (International & National), reputed journals, Report and periodicals the central library serves the needs of the staff and students of this college as well as other research scholars. The library will be open from 8.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m.

College Library Rules:
  • Strict silence should be maintained in the Library premises.
  • Each student will get two non-transferable Reader’s Tickets. On completion of the Course, student should return their Reader’s Tickets by the due dates announced for the purpose.
  • Only one book against one ticket will be issued. Period of loan will be 15 days. All the books have to be returned on the date marked on the date label found on the back page of the book. Absence from the college will not be an excuse for not returning the book in time. For late return of books, there is an overdue charge of Rs.2/- per document per day.
  • Users are responsible for the book issued to them. Check all books/items before they are taken out of the Library and report mutilation or damage if any, immediately.
  • Loss of Reader’s Ticket must be reported to the Library Staff in writing. Duplicate Reader’s Ticket will be issued on payment of Rs.50/-.
  • Reference books are to be used only for reference work inside the library.
  • In case of loss of Book(s), or books returned in mutilated condition, the borrower has to pay 3 times the actual cost of the Book(s).
  • Books which are not available on the shelves may be reserved by filling in the register provided. Same book can be reissued if there are no reservations.
  • Photocopies of documents held in the Library can be provided at prevailing charges subject to copyright regulations.
  • AII personal belongings must be left at the baggage counter at owner’s risk.
  • Food or drinks are not permitted in the Library.
  • In case of any difficulty in using the Library or locating any specific information, the Library staff may be contacted for assistance.
  • The students should clear all Library dues before they receive the Hall Tickets for University Examinations or before obtaining the Transfer Certificate.

Wi-Fi Campus

The Central Computing Facility has all branded computers (DELL) of high end configuration and broad band internet connectivity and be a Wi-Fi enabled campus. The Computer: student ratio is 1:2 which is much better than the AICTE requirement which is 1:4 only.

Computer Center Rules:
  • The College Computer Lab is for College students and employees only.
  • No food, drink or loud conversation will be permitted in the Lab.
  • If the Lab is full, the person who has been in the Lab for the longest period of time, not doing college related work, will be asked to give up their station.
  • Students are required to keep their footwear in the space provided for it outside the centre. The Computer Centre is a “No Footwear Zone”.
  • Unacceptable behavior which includes the following is not permitted. Damaging or destroying equipment, software, or data belonging to the College or to other users including downloading, altering, adding or deleting files on College work - station hard drives.
  • Unauthorized use of memory storage devices like floppy, CD ROM etc.
  • Unauthorized copying of copyrighted materials.
  • Unauthorized installation of software.
  • Violating computer system or network integrity, including attempts to bypass network security functions, obtain passwords or alter configurations of lab workstations in any way.
  • Causing disturbances / inconvenience to other users. Using the College computer resources and internet facilities to access, view or distribute any illegal/ objectionable content.

Stationery Store

To meet all the needs of the students including text books, Drawing Instruments, other stationery items and other daily needs, a well equipped store is functioning in the college campus.

Canteen

A full-fledged canteen with modern facilities and hygienic environment is functioning in the campus which provides Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Tea, Coffee, Soft drinks and other catering needs of the students and staff members.

Extra curricular

Students will be trained in both extra curricular and co-curricular activities and they will be encouraged to participate in such events in State, National or International levels.
